Hate That Song

I BELIEVE CHRISTINE BLASEY FORD!

I holed up and made this whole thing yesterday- music, lyrics, recording, etc. The subreddit theme was "revolution" and the music I was working on kinda reminded me of Sonic youth's "Youth Against Fascism". I remembered when I first heard that song, Thurston sounded like an older guy trying to sound like a younger guy. I still liked the song but it came off as a bit silly to me at the time. So I kind of had this idea that now *I* get to be the older guy who's maybe trying too hard. So I approached this from that perspective: like I'm an older hipster who wants to be relevant. Let me tell you it was quite a stretch for me! Heh heh ... ahem. 🤣

It seriously made sense in the moment, but I was weary and needed something to work with. Whoa, I'm just now realizing how tired I still am.
